sometimes, it startles me when I open my website and come across old blog entries from the beginning of 2023. time has flown by so quickly. lately, this realization has struck me quite often, especially as my dog continues to age. she won’t be with us much longer probably.

when I quit smoking three and a half years ago, she was ‘only’ 12. :') it’s peculiar how those three years can simultaneously feel both long and short. three smoke-free years seem substantial, yet the thought that my dog is now three years older fills me with sadness.
