it kinda trips me up whenever I open the site and see old blog posts from early 2023. time has gone by way too fast. I've been thinking about it a lot lately, especially seeing my dog get older. she probably doesn't have much longer left with us.

when I quit smoking three and a half years ago, she was ‘only’ 12. :') it's weird how those three years can feel super long and really short at the same time. three years without smoking feels like a huge milestone, but realizing my dog is three years older just hurts right now.
